You are welcome to view and use the platform, to reference our published results, and to quote short passages or cite figures with clear attribution to TeraGIS and a link to this site. Sharing links is encouraged.
Our methodology write-ups, figures and data products are published for transparency, not as an open-licensed resource. Reproducing them substantially, redistributing them, incorporating them into another product or service, or creating derivative works from them requires our written permission. Automated bulk collection of the platform or its tiles is not permitted. Ask us — we are usually happy to say yes: info@teragis.net.
The platform is provided as-is, for information, planning and research. Model output is a simulation: it carries uncertainty, it is validated only to the extent published on the methodology page, and it can be wrong.
It is not an official flood warning. In Pakistan, official warnings are issued by the Flood Forecasting Division of the Pakistan Meteorological Department and by the relevant provincial and district authorities. Always follow official instructions. TeraGIS accepts no liability for decisions taken on the basis of this platform.
Our products are derived in part from public datasets — including Copernicus Sentinel-1, ESA WorldCover, the JRC Global Surface Water dataset, FABDEM, OpenStreetMap and CARTO basemaps, and discharge telemetry published by the Flood Forecasting Division. Each remains subject to its own licence and belongs to its respective provider; our terms cover only what we ourselves created.
